This year is the most difficult year in my life, and yet next year is going to be more difficult for me.
I've never made any new year's resolution before in my life, but I really do feel the urgency in making one for year 2006.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
Acts 20:24
Happy New Year to all of you, wish you all the best for the coming year *hugs*

Gokil
For where two or three Indonesians are gathered together there will be a nuisance created for sure *evil smile*
Yupe, there were 8 of us in total, which each and everyone has a very angelic look, especially when we saw the photo that we took last nite...
But then when the real us come out, Oh My God...we are hilarious....
May be the next time the restaurant see any of us, we will be banned from the restaurant *innocent look*
The result of last nite gathering, I got stomach ache and sore throat because of the laughs *sigh*

Tired
First of all Merry Christmas once again to all of you, sorry if I didn't left any messages in your blog, coz I use Mac at home, and still "gaptek" towards it...when I tried to leave a message in the shoutbox there is "Cookies Deactivated" message appears *sigh* So couldn't leave any trace at all *blush*
These past few days I've been attending so many dinner, whether with business associate or with friends. It made me feel tired of eating *sigh*
Started from Christmas day dinner, I invited friends and suppliers for dinner in my place, and suddenly my friend said to me,"Hey Flo, you look very tired of eating..."
I was so surprised,"Hey how you know ar?"
He said,"Yah lah you look bored leh.."
Then I laughed...yupe I've been tired of eating, that's why I've tried my best to eat light lunch, like instant noodle for lunch...(kayak nasib anak kost hehhehe....)
This week is going to be another tough week, as this morning I tought,"Thank God today can avoid heavy dinner" then suddenly I received sms from my friend that come from Sydney,"Hey flo, how about we're having dinner tonite?
Oh My God...Please deh ah....meanwhile the dinner invitation continues *sigh*

A few months back when I wore my gym attire because I went to the gym after work, then she stared to wear sporty attire also, and until the extend buying the treadmill and bicycle, to put in her office...May be at that time she tought that I have treadmill inside my office as well kali yaaa *jijix*
Nah after such a long time haven't met with the auntie (most of the time I only see the husband)...jrengggg....this morning finally I met her...
She lost a lot of weight...and cut her hair exactly like me and the most disgusting thing is....alamak...her dressing code now jeans and t-shirt, just like me *gubraks* the only difference is her one is bling2 t-shirt *muntah* and a very tight jeans...*muntah muntah*
Starting from tomorrow I'll change my dresscode, I'll wear spaghetti straps and plunging low cut v-necks ahhhhhhhh.... wanna see how she's going to imitate me *evil smile*
Merry Christmas for those who celebrate, hope you'll have a wonderful Christmas whereever you are and who ever you are with lah ya.. and Have a nice week end all *tight hugs*

Competitor
Remember about my reason for taking voice class? Yupe you're rite, coz I wanna be the next Singapore Idol *evil smile*
FYI the next Singapore Idol intake will be on Feb next year *panick mode on*
Anyway as the time getting nearer I have found a few competitor, as I saw a few times in Orchard, in front of Paragon to be exact, this gal singing confidently with a minus one *sigh* but the voice is really unstable...sometimes can be up..next one down...*sigh* I think she can kill me softly with her song if I have to wait long enough for the traffic light to cross that junction *sigh*
Another competitor is in Clementi,I found him last week when I checked my mailbox, right at the hawker center behind my previous flat, at Clementi Ave 2, he sets up a keyboard, and a list of songs, and you can request a song from him..the voice really good, and the skills of the piano also good....so all the best for that uncle lah ya...
Meanwhile...I think I'll send Nunik down to queue for me if I joined Singapore Idol...so please ya vote for me *muka badak* wakakakakakaa.....

Who Has The Last Laugh?
Yesterday I was having a meeting with my client talking about the urgent project that we need to do, and my client asked me whether I'm going to go somewhere this coming Christmas Holiday, and I said no and I' ll be having a lot of works to finish as well.
She asked again whether our company open on Monday (which supposed to be a public holiday because Christmas will fall on Sunday), because she has some job to rush, and required us to do on Monday.
Of course I said no problem lah...*workaholic mode on*
Then this morning, the stupid printer (it's her vendor, which always try to undercut and do our business also) called me this morning said with a suprise tone,"Eh your company working on Monday meh?
I said,"Yeah, why?"
He,"It's a public holiday you know.."
Me,"Yeah, but we work leh..."
He,"You sure or not?"
Me,"Yeah very sure we work..."
He gave up,"Oh ok..."
wakakakakakkakakakkakakka biar mampus lo...
Want to fight full frontal with me? Who scared?
He hasn't known who I am, is it?

Branding
Since a few weeks back, my friend already told me to celebrate her birthday by having dinner together with her on last Saturday, but on Thursday suddenly she received sms from her cousin, saying that she would come to Singapore on Saturday.
So she told me that her cousin would join us for dinner, and she also warned me this cousin, is a very serious person, workaholic, very clever, very sharp, no non-sense and very hard to joke *sigh*
Since it was her birthday, I couldn't say no to her, besides I quite often dragged her a long to meet my other friends..anyway on that day, luckily I had forgotten all about her cousin, because I was too excited to meet her...but then when I as introduce to her cousin, suddenly I said oh no...how am I going to handle this situation.
I tried my best to keep reminding my self to behave nicely, by using "Saya" instead of "Gue" when I talked to her cousin..but when talking to her, I still use "Gue" lah of course *grinned* but then as the time passed by I couldn't hold my self anymore, so I started with a soft joke, which was getting hotter and hotter, and bingo....there it goes...she started to laugh at my jokes...*legaaaaa*
That situation reminds me of the conversation that I had with my best friend back in Jakarta a few months back, me and the birthday girl were in the same class with my best friend when we were still in Trisakti, but yet when I talked about the birthday girl(R) to my best friend (S) (oppss..complicated ya...), she always said,"Yeah I know R is very crazy, but lately when she met me, she was not that crazy anymore, not like you even though I'm not in the mood of joking, but you always persistent to launch your jokes towards me...
Well I answered with a simple sentence,"Because I'm trying my best to do branding mah...while R may be still trying to do positioning...I don't care about the response, my duty is only doing branding...that's how people loves to be around me..."
And she laughs....
For those who can't understand, it's a marketing strategy lesson....

Technology
Since I was still in Primary School, I always bring some reading materials whenever I have to do my nature call *blush* and when I got my first walk man, I add the my pleasure with some music *smile*
The habit continues, even though my parents always scold me everytime they caught me doing the things, but I've never given up *naughty smile* don't you think it's a waste of time doing nothing inside the toilet for that certain amount of time? *grinned*
When I was in Sydney, I liked to use my flatmate toilet, coz he always had some magazines ready inside his toilet, so when it's very very urgent...didn't have time to get something from my room, just rushed to his toilet *blush*
Then now, during the designing period of my house, I'd ever proposed to my designer to add some shelves for putting some books or magazine inside my toilet, but yet the designer said there were no good space for it, and it's not good aesthetically, besides it's not advisable, coz it could damage the book, as Singapore is very humid, then the steam after the bath will not go out easily.
So no choice I have to forgo the book shelves inside my bathroom *sigh*
But yet, since the technology has improved, now I can even surf the internet during nature call, wireless technology mah *grinned*
A few weeks back I bought my wireless headphone too, coz I like to turn on the radio in the morning to accompany me during breakfast, since my parents don't like my choice of music, so I bought the headphone lah...
Being a very curious creature, I also tried whether it can work inside my bathroom or not, and Eurekaaaaaaaa...it works man....so now I can choose internet with music or book with music...
Ahhh... technology...really makes life better....
Have a nice week end every one *hugs*

MTV Chinese
Last nite I was trying to wind my self down, so I tuned into channel 51, Chinese MTV. Thinking to brush up my Chinese as they were showing a variety show, quite crazy though. But yet the Chinese was soooo difficult, they spoke too fast for me to catch up, and you know MTV always use the slang language, so I just tried my best to pick up lah...
And the suddenly in the midst of commercial breaks, jrenggggg...they play 1 English music clip, I felt, eh familiar sounds ya...and it was Take That with "Back For Good".
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......somebody kill me puhhh...leaseeeeeee, an old wound opened, every second, my heart felt like been sliced slowly by a sharp knife, but yet I didn't change the channel *sigh*
Ahhh....woman...complicated *sigh*

Mid week Hangover
Yupe, I'm not kidding. I'm having tha hangover from last nite party *sigh*
It was Girard Perregaux Ferrari party, they're launching the new Girard Perregaux Ferrari watch, and this one is the last edition, there are 2 type, black and rose gold.
They only have 20 pieces of black and 3 pieces of rose gold in Singapore, so I don't need to tell you the price lah ya...you must be able to guess from there...
It was a very good party...good crowds...good drinks....good foods...good music, everything was good...
Perfect place for Material Girl who's looking for a big fish *grinned*
I couldn't remember how many drinks I'd finished, because they changed the cocktails to champagne then just kept on topping up the my glass *sigh*
Luckily the party ended not too late, I went home about 9 plus and was still sobber enough to go home.
Double lucky, when I arrived at home, nobody around, and saw how red was my face *sigh* I looked at the mirror, eh I saw my reflection looked like forever friend bear *nyengir*, rosy cheek, but after I finished my bath, I looked like cooked prawn *blush* very red...
Now I felt very stupid because of the hangover, just stared blankly at my works *sigh* I feel more drunk now than yesterday *sigh*
Moral of the story don't drink too much on weekdays....
PS:Sorry mate, my work loads is very terrible, so can't do blogwalking, but anyway thanks for your visit *smile*

Singlish
Thanks for all your concern and support, meanwhile the deep thought still in progress *senyum manis*
Anyway, do you know that when you speak Singlish, besides the -lah, still have "ah" or some people may write it as "ar" but pronouce as "a" in the straight Indonesian pronounciation.
I'd just finished my phone call to the furniture company, asking whether my bar stool have been ready to be sent to my place or not.
I said,"Hello, I would like to ask you ar...are my bar stools ar...already come to your warehouse or not ar?
After I hung up (eh it's not madonna's new song ya *senyum jail*) the phone, then I realised, eh how come I spoke very good Singlish ar? wakakakkakak...
Suddenly I recalled my friend's story, she was my my class mate in Trisakti before, and now she is working in Singapore, after being transfered from Jakarta office to the regional office in Singapore.
When she was still working in jakarta, there was this Singaporean guy by the name of Sam, came to her office to become a replacement manager for a few months in Jakarta, so she was introduce by her boss to this guy.
When she was in her boss room, the boss called Sam in,"Eh Sam ar...come in..."
Then being polite she greeted Sam,"Oh hello, Sema (read with Indonesian pronounciation) how are you?"
Then everybody laughed at her, but she was confused and asked,"Is there anything wrong?"
Then the boss explained,"His name is Sam, not Sema..that's because I was speaking in Singlish..."

Office Girl
For those who missed Nunik a lot, she's currently still in the old place, will move into new place today, so stay tune yaaaaa....There must be a lot of story, coz now the main actor and actress are my mom and my dad...
As the replacement of the soap opera, let me present the new series of my production, The Office Girl...Eh give applause donks...*nyengir*
Remember her? She's Malaysian, doesn't speak English, but yet until now, my Chinese hasn't improved and her English also no improvement either *sigh*
So as usual, CV speaks louder than action, where she boasts she used to:
* handle complaints,
* do accounts,
* makes delivery order,
but in reality:
* no phone manner (I've already told her how to answer the phone, but still...)
* always passes the wrong message (imagine, somebody called by the name of Ainah, then she told me Agnes..may be she tought German spelling kali yaaa? *sigh* I have to search high and low for the person by the name of Agnes, which is does not exist at all..)
* always day dreams during works ( mending guwe yah blogw alkin during works..wakkakakka)
* I told her to call me if she receives some deliveries, but most of the time she didn't do so
* A lots of complaints from my customer
Last week, when I signed her pay check, I felt very bad..as I thought this one is the one before the lastt pay check that she's going to receive *sigh*
Seeing her happy face when I handed out her check made me even worse *sigh*
I still don't know how to do the dirty job for me *nyengir*, I think I need to put my self on the cruise ship on the day she receive the terminations news *sigh*

Kal Ho Naa Ho
That's the title of the Indian movie I watched on Sunday nite, played by Shahrukh Khan, not that handsome though, I wonder why so many people crazy over him *bingung*
Actually I'm not a fan of Indian movie though, just because a lot of people, like Yvonne said I should try to watch, so I think no harm trying to watch, as it's not so long winded like the Korean Drama movie.
The story is about a girl by the name of Naina, her best friend, Rohit (man), which actually falls in love to her, but yet she falls in love to Aman (Shahrukh Khan), which has a heart failure, and dying. So Aman, tried to match make Naina nad Rohit.
It's quite a good movie, and a lot of tears (eh not me lah...), in there you can see how deep is Aman love to Naina, until he doesn't have a heart to be with Naina coz he's going to die anytime soon, so in replace he asked Rohit, to chase Naina, as he knows Rohit also loves Naina...
Just wondering if there is such love in the real life...

Drunken Master
Saturday, I was having some of clients who are quite close to our company, to come over to my place to have a Christmas party, my mom is the main chef, she did all the cooking, meanwhile I became a pastry chef (again), with the help of my God sista (again). I supposed to make Tiramisu for dessert, but then when it was ready, I realised ooppss..the invites are much more than my tiramisu, so I just hide inside the fridge lah *blush*
The party was quite messy but fun, well...it's a bit hard though, like not many people wiiling to merge into others or started the conversation by the time I introduced one another *sigh* It's easier to manage Indonesian inside the party, coz they will merge easily after been intoduced to each other....
Anyway...I was quite confused have to divide myself to so many people, but luckily the bell kept on ringing after a while, so I had to open the door, introduced new comers, and talked to them, so it was quite easy, just roughly repeated the same questions *lega*
I have some star guests for the nite, and I've prepared 2 bottles of Choya, since they said they like Choya very much. Since the first time they stepped into the house, he couldn't be separated from Choya's bottle..just like lovers wakakkakakka...
And then I lost count how many bottle of wine followed after that, until almost everybody had gone, then he started to said something quite rude, then everybody were so surprised, I thought he was joking, and everybody still tried to bend his sentences into joke...and then they didn't show any sign of leaving my house, meanwhile my parents had gone to sleep..so I decided to send them back home, then I realised they are really drunk, especially the Choya guy *sigh* When I dumped him downstairs of his block, he even couldn't stand properly anymore *sigh* Dunno whether he slept downstair or he managed to climbed up to his unit that nite...
Luckily I didn't drink much last nite, but I was very sleepy during the drive, but I wasn't drunk *lega lagih* Actually I was planning to drink that nite, as I'd asked my God sista to sleep in my place, so I don't need to send her home after the party, but I didn't have any chance to drink, what I drink was only a glass of choya, that I made after the crowds subsided, and I was not too sure what, as the drunken master kept on going back and forth to my wine cooler, to get himself a drink...then somebody passed me the drink and said,"Hey flo, wanna try this one? It's new bottle", so I just took a sip or two then returned the glass to the owner, now I got sore throat again from sharing drinks *sad*
And I slept very late on Saturday, mmm not Saturday, that one Sunday morning already, coz I chatted with my sista, till 3.30 am, and still got lunch appointment on Sunday *sigh*

Juicy Stories
This morning I had to attend breakfast party...usual lah it's my client's again..*sigh* Luckily I woke up quite early today (these past few days I come back to my old habit, wake up late, coz finally my dad can understand that I don't need to be early for my work for this line *lega*) and at that time I could hear, that (cute) neighbour leaving the house...and lemme clear...he's not cute, may be that time I just woke up, so my eyes had not functioned well enough *blush*
When I brushed my teeth, I nearly swallowed my tooth paste, because I heard a guy was singing I'll be home for Christmas, and suddenly he stopped, may be he knew that if he sang in the hdb bathroom, then the whole block could hear it...wakakkakka...
Talking about I'll be home for Christmas...last Tuesday during my voice class, my teacher said,"Hey it's Christmas, so why don't we sing Christmas song?"
I said,"Ummm okay..." I'm not too keen towards Christmas Song, too cheesy (got a lot of stories behind it also lah actually *blush*), unless the one that we sing in the church lah...
Then my teacher said,"Okay this week we sing I'll be Home for Christmas and Joy to the World".
OMG I hate I'll be home for Christmas, just simply because I've never been home for Christmas, and if I were home, then there is no Christmas *sad* yeah more or less something like that lah...
So in the brekkie party, I came late, coz I always have this thought in my mind,"even I came to the office I do not come this early, so why should I go so early?" *blush* Then arrived there, meet my client at the reception, and she said,"So are you going back to the office after this?"
Me,"Yeah, have to.."
She said,"So you'd better shop a lot, so that you can be more productive.."
Aiyoh...did she try to hint to me that I have to spend *sigh*
So I went in, and found out that the brekkie was provided by Coffee Beans, and then the manager quite cute *deep sigh* He was in charge of the drink, and I asked whether they served any tea, coz he was holding coffee, then he said to me I'd get it for you...Then he just left all the things behind to get me a cup of tea *surprise* and after that he kept on passing back and forth in fron of me, and gave his best smile to me *sigh*
Oh no, I'm on duty lah...I have to keep my proffesionalism donk, ya gag? Besides my ass is still in pain, and I'm wearing 3 cm heel, which made me feel like I'm in hell with my back pain and knee injury (well, the thing that keep me on is only the message from one of my fashion guru,"In order for you to be beautiful, you have to suffer, no pain no gain"), so I don't have any appetite to talk...so sorry couldn't entertain him lah, besides he also was on duty what....
And I moved to Takahsimaya to get the Rose Chan, then when I as queueing they played another I'll be Home for Christmas again, Oh no...somebody stabbed me to death pleaseee.....
Anyway back to the story track, the juicy stories..last Saturday, one of my Trisakti friend, who provides me with femina magazines, come with some magazines, then said,"eh Flon, di edisi ini ada B lagi loh..." she was flipping the magazine to show me RCTI ads inside the magazine, as B is one of the reporter, and he was our classmates as well...
Then my mom was very curious,"Siapa tuh B?"
My friend, with her wicked face started to make up more juicy story,"Oh tante gag tau ya? B ini dulu temen sekelas, kalo ujian duduknya deket Flona, dan cuma 2 semester di Trisakti, trus pindah ke Australi, makanya Flona juga ke Australi tuh Tante...Duh kok tante gag tau sih..."
Alamak...my face turn red, she sounded very convincing, until, everybody came towards her, to see B face, then I shouted,"Eh do you believe her? sure?"
After everybody saw her face, then everybody realised that she tried to fabricate stories only...
Then because of that, my Mom, started her non sense stories, by saying,"Eh kamu tau si A? tante nemu suratnya buat Flona loh, waktu tante lagi beres2in lemarinya Flona".
I was very surprised,"Hah? Mama nemu surat dari A? Emang dia pernah nulis surat ke saya? Koq saya gak tau?" then I started to imagine A's face *blush* yeah he was interested in me, but so far he never written anything at all, he used to know what time I used to arrive in class, and he would be patiently waitin' for me there, meanwhile me, when I'm approaching the class, I would be very careful enough, to check whether there is somebody else inside the class, if not, then I'd go somewhere else first, but if yes, then I would talk to somebody else to avoid him *sigh*
Continued with another story, my mom asked my friend again whether she knew about the mistery man who sent flower to my faculty's admin office on Valentine's Day or not *sigh* Yeah I knew who sent that flower, but I've never told my mom...you know it's so embarassing...I didn't have any class that day, then suddenly the Faculty admin called my mom, and asked her to pick up the flower bouquet for me *sigh*
And almost everybody knew that incident, so the next day, when I walked to the class, I was not dare to lift up my face....yeah that's me too famous...even in Sydney I was too famous as well, that's why I try to keep low profile here in Singapore....tired though *sigh*
But then, even though how low I'm trying to be, then suddenly my friend from Japan is in Singapore, while last nite I recceived another call from my friend from Jakarta, saying he's in town, whether I could met him for dinner, while tomorrow nite I have to conduct another party for my clients alamak....
Oh and the stories of my mom still continues, and I was not interested in hearing anymore...I just let her entertain my friends with her stories lah...wakakkakaka...
Have a bless week end everyone

Manusia Berencana Tuhan Menentukan
Story One
Tuesday Evening, I received sms from unfamiliar number, it said,"I have given birth to a baby girl, 3.1 kg, 55 cm, her name is .... Tan."
I tried to think very hard,"Do I have a pregnant friend or is it wrong sms?"
But I still reply,"Congratulations, where are you?"
It replied,"649"
Hmmm...not even gave me the hospital name, only room number, made mo more frustated
Tried to squeeze my brain some more,"My Singaporean friends whose surname Tan either single or the wife is not pregnant". *sigh*
Squeezed more, my pregnant friend just gave birth 2 months back to a baby boy, then suddenly realised, oooouuwwww that Trisakti friend, which came to my place last Saturday, she was telling me that the doctor said she had to go for cesarean on Tuesday, as the baby head still not turning down, and the doctor need to go on holiday, but she and her husband still considering about it.
*sigh*
Finally I solved the mistery sms, yeah her stomach was not big at all, that's why it's really didn't hang onto my memory, besides the surname is Tan, I don't know her husband surname either *blush* Well, it's amazing you know, like they were trying to postpone the birth, but yet suddenly voila, the baby is out...so no matter how hard you try to plan, at the end God still play a part
So I went to see them yesterday evening, both baby and mother are in a very good condition, the baby so cute, rosy cheek, and so small *sigh*
Story Two
Yesterday nite I brought my parents for groceries shopping, and in the same time I needed to go back to the office, coz I forgot to put something for supplier upstairs (eh it's not because of I went to see a movie again lah..this time *blush*)
When I was upstairs near my supplier place, suddenly I realised I need to double check something again, so I came down to my office with my parents, then realised ooopss...my medicine lying there on my table, so I run and tried my best to hide my medicines *phew* But then my mom hands are always itchy, she likes to dig my things, when it's going near to the place where I just hide the medicine, then I said," Finish, let's go back".
Then my father suddenly asked me,"Papa ada tinggalin buku gak di sini waktu itu?"
I said,"Kayanya cuma kamus doang deh Pa."
Papa,"Coba liat itu di sebelah masih ada buku papa gak?"
I was in dilemma, if I went to the next room, then my mom found out about my medicine, bingo I will be a dead meat....then on the other hand my dad asked about his book, which I have to show respect to him by helping him to search in the next room *sigh*
But I chosed to go to the next room with my dad. When I tried to bend down, because of the panick moment, I hit my back with the corner of the table *bledug* then I shouted...it was very bloody painful....*sigh* but luckily because of that my mom attention was diverted to me *sigh* (I even don't know whether it should be lucky or unlucky to hit the table corner *blush*)
So last nite I couldn't sleep properly, it hurt very badly, especially when I change position during my sleep, now I do understand, why there is a phrase "Pain in the ass" because it's really painful...
*sigh* Actually I've planned for tomorrow schedule, I will go to Yoga class and continue with spa, but because of the pain, all is going to the drain *cry*
