Badai Pasti Berlalu

Discharged

I am back to life back to reality *singing* Sitting in front of my beloved office PC, updating my blog *muach muach* I had eaten my beloved "Yu Mian" for lunch *satisfied* and now back to racing the amazing race again *sigh*

The good news is I lost 2 kg *jumping around* and I didn't meet Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton though. I asked for my privacy to be kept from those 2, yeah I know both of them are yearning to see me *like real huh*

Well.....well...now focus, hopefully I can survive, yeah I will survive *singing*

Yin Yang

When I see life arounds me, most of the time I feel life is unfair.

But is the unfairness in life actually meant to create a balance in life, just like Yin and Yang?

Indonesian Idol

I'm still at home watching Indonesian Idol, not yet gone to rehab though...tomorrow...

Anyway back to Indonesian Idol, I'm amazed to see the judges, no hard feeling ya...i wonder what's Tika Panggabean doing there as a jury? *scratching my head* What's the connection between Tyka and singing? *sigh*

All the judges are very polite, nobody nasty at all, even when they wanted to say that the performance not up to standard, they'll start with I'm sorry to say that bla bla bla....Too polite isn't it? Yeah, that's us... Indonesian, full of politness *proud*

Anang, I don't know why when he comments, he speaks somehow weird....between formal and unformal....very lame that's what I feel...

At the end of today rerun show there was Krisdayanti duet with Sherina, KD has no air at all doing the duet with Sherina, which is nobody compared to KD...I always respect KD, Titi DJ, and Ruth Sahanaya, since I saw Concert 3 Diva last year in Jakarta, they are very down to earth...especially during the show they also have another 3 junior singers to sing on stage together with them...Salute...

Morale of the story: If you have a lots of enemy, please stock up Tango Biscuit...Don't understand? Watch Indonesian Idol deh....

Happy Birthday To Us

Yoohooo, we're 6th, I mean our company, supposed to be on 20 June if I'm not mistaken, but since I won't be around next week, yeah I'll be checking in to rehabilitation center *wicked smile*

But I'm not too sure who will I meet down there in the rehab, whether Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan or Richie Sambora (eh this guy had checked out already yesterday ya?)

Anyway come back to the anniversary party....could you imagine if the party planned by me? (the one who's going to be in the rehab next week?) *wink* Starting from individual cake (of course made by me with a lots of love), mini champagne, mini champagne glass, and small spoon, served on the tray and wrapped nicely by my colleague. Designing a invite card with a personal touch of me...and sealed with a kiss *blush*

And the craziest part...it's held on a house boat...so rocker my baby tonite...with a lots of champagne and wine till dawn. Oh there is one most craziest thing of all..the peanut is imported from Bali, which sent by DHL, the shipping cost is much more than the peanuts it self...

Yupe...so proven, rite? I need to go to rehab....

Have a nice week end everyone....Now I could become an event organiser liaow....Any party to arrange? Just call me and I'll be there *singing*

Manicure and Pedicure

I'll be having a company function this Friday. It's not a formal event, but just because pf my vanity level is on the high side, I went for manicure and pedicure this evening.

When you're watching the movie, normally during the session, they will be chit-chatting, or gosipping about something with the manicurist. But, you know me, instead of I did the talking, I just threw a bite, and the manicurist did all the talking *puas* So it's the other way around, instead of I was the one who pour my heart out, she was the one...he he he..smart huh?

Anyway during the session I was having a very bad stomach ache...you know...want to do my nature call lah...But can you imagine, if I did that with the half dry paint on my finger? *blush*

So I tried my best to keep it for later....so after everything finished, I still managed to have my dinner. Then I couldn't hold it any longer, so I went to the toilet and did it.

During zipping up my pants, oooppss...i damaged the manicure *sigh* luckily only a bit...but still quite obvious for me though...

If only I knew that, I'd rather not to sip my pants up ;p

Agreee??????

PS: this posting is made with my eyes half open, plus not too well working brain...so kids, please don't try it at home....

Why Oh Why

Up to now, I only love 1 maid (not nunik of course), the one that took care of me during my childhood. She was as good as personal buttler. She was polite, kinds, loved me a lot, and knew when I need my own space and time.
My current maid, she's from Myanmar. Yupe, after hearing so many people saying about how good Myanmar's maid is, and after weeks of trial from somebody for convincing me to get the Myanmar maid, finally I got one.
She is polite, hardworking, but I feel she has gone too far in providing service. Frankly I like her. But then I'm started to feel uncomfortable with her overboard gesture.
Imagine, after a long days from work, she always me what could I wanted to drink. After I told her what I wanted, then she would offer a lots of things, like,"Do you want Yakult? Do you want fruit juice? Do you want to take the yellow medicine (Tolak Angin maksude...because there was one time I took that 3 days in a row)?"
Which I'd told her,"That yellow liquid is a medicine, I shouldn't take that one every day if I were not sick..."
But all the questions still continues, till one morning I told her,"Let me tell you, I like you a lot, I like the way you work, you're very polite, very helpfull , very kind, very thoughtfull but sometimes you went too far in order to please me, and it made me very uncomfortable".
Her answer is,"It's okay ma'am".*gubraks*
I said,"It's okay for you but it's not okay for my life".
Last nite I tried to release my stress by baking, and she found out, and she said why I didn't call her. Then I told her that I need time to bake for my self, I enjoy baking and I enjoy doing it by my self.
Tonight she is on standby *gubraks*
When I told her that I wanted to do it by my self, she replied with the same answer.
Then I also said I need my space to release my stress, she also replied she is happy to help me, and she looks dissapointed for not letting her to help me. *gubraks lagi*
Oh My God....what else should I do? Everybody that had met her always said,"Wow you're very lucky to have such maid..."
Yeah indeed I was very lucky. But not now. My privacy have been invaded *sigh*

Brain Jammed

Because of instability of my emotion lately (may be I have to use UPS to make it stabil *grins), my brain is jammed. I'm not able to write ans express something in my blog as I used to.
My writing sounds stale and bored. I also scared that I might offend somebody in my writings as well.
So meanwhile stay tune until my brain could function properly again....

Keblinger

I have adopted new habits for my sunday, which consist of woke up around 11 something *blush*, whip up brunch, and enjoy my brunch while watching infotainment, started from Hot Shot and move to Silet.
I'm not really addicted to infotainment though, but then sometimes I just feel left over when my friends talking about something *senyum manies*
Just now, while doing so, I was reaching the newspaper during the commercial break, but suddenly I was shocked and confused when reading the news, I thought,"Hmm weird, how come the newspaper is in English..."
*sigh* I think I was too engrossed with the infotainment, until I swicth my entire brain to Indonesian, that's why I become so shocked and confused *blush* How shameful :(

Alamak

PMS is the newest trend in my life. Remembering I used to laugh at all the girls around me who always suffer from PMS, started from food craving to becoming once a month bitch. I guess it's a karma *sigh*

Now I have it *jedotin kepala ke tembok* Started from a very bad stomach ache to crave for the food that I seldom have in my wish list. Imagine I always having a hard time like stomach cramps, hips pain, etc....

The crave even worse, every day I can crave for different things, yesterday i was craving for kue Onde or Jin Dui is the common name here and now black forrest cake *sigh* Alamak where to find black forrest? Gene hareee? Black Forrest? *tepok jidat*

Ndeso

I used to love Thai food, but the past 2 trips to Bangkok, my stomach go haywire uncontrollably...starting from heartburn, high acidity, till go back and forth to the toilet, luckily the toilet in Bangkok is super duper clean. Believe it or not, even cleaner that the toilet in Singapore....

Because of my stomach problem, the last 3 days in Hua Hin, I just ate in the hotel, western food :( What a waste of opportunity and money :(

The other ndeso story, ever since I have anxiety disorder, most of the time I took the flight, I always have panick attack *sigh* Shamefull isn't it? ndesoooo banged....So everytime I go for holidays, I always swear not to go for another holiday.

But remember the phrase: the rule is made to be broken?

So after I landed in Singapore I always can't wait to book for another holiday.....

Morale of the story: Long live Ndesooooooooooo

Well...well....back to life, back to reality *nyanyi*
Once I landed in Singapore around 8pm plus, took taxi home, drove out to get a dinner, as I didn't have any appetite inside the aeroplane....in fact I got countless anxiety attack today *SIGH*
After dinner, went to inspect how is my project going *blush* I have an undergoing project which I still tried to control during my holiday in Bangkok and Hua Hin. In fact I'm still checking my email now...
Oh My God..how could I be so workaholics?

Ripped Off

I'm in Timbuktu now. So far not a pleasant holiday though. Been ripped of twice for 2 days on my holidays *be te abies*

First case, I was about to have dinner at Som Boon Seafood at Surrawong, actually I've tried the one in Pathumwan 2 weeks ago, and nothing spectacular. Being curious, I wanted to try this branch. It was raining and traffic jam (yupe, what can you expect from Bangkok?), and the restaurant was closed for annual holiday.

The taxi driver said,"I'll bring you to Silom Seafood". As I was having appointment with my friends to meet at Som Boon Seafood at Surrawong, I thought ok lah, I'd promised to bring them for dinner anyway. But the taxi driver was not to helpfull to relay the message to my friends' taxi driver.

So I thought when I arrived at the restaurant, I'll asked the restaurant people to speak to my friends' taxi driver, which happened as per my expectation. But when I arrived in that restaurant I smelled something not right, as I was forced to choose the seafood from the entrance, but as I was tired of the traffc jam, I just choosed accrodingly.

I ended up paying 8000 Baht for the stupid dinner, whereby the crab was overcooked, the Cuttlefish also overcooked, luckily the steamed fish, baked lobster, tom yam goong and veggie were nice...But what the $^%^%$#$$%^$##^^! 8000 baht in that restaurant *bah*

The second ripped off was this afternoon, on the way to BITEC, I've checked from the website, we could take BTS (Sky train) to On Nut Station and there would be shuttle bus taking people to BITEC.

Arrving in On Nut, I followed direction, but there is no sign of the bus, tried to stop a few taxis they didn't know about it *sigh* Finally found 1 stupid taxi, said yes, then asked whether i would like to take expressway, which I answered,"whatever" then I realised the driver was heading back to town, and I stopped him in the middle of highway, and pointing to my destination again. Which he pointed another destination *mo maraaaahhhh gag siyyyy?*

Finally he says,"Oh okay I know, but looked like he still continued his journey to town anyway. I thought I''d get down anywhere he stopped, then I found out that actually he was trying to earn more money from me, by going around the city highway, which of course no doubt, very bad traffic *siap2 golok*

So after a long wait while trying to calm my self down, I saw something look like exhibition hall, but my thought it would probably be Bangkok Convention Centre, which luckily turn out to be BITEC *gondok abies*

But frankly speaking Thai Taxi driver is worse than Jakarta, even though some are very nice, but they will be able to refuse to take you to certain destination *sigh* and tried to bring you for a joy ride, before reaching destination, just to earn extra money *sebel*

Oh my God, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day...

Substitute

After my come back to the coffee world *blush* even though not a full blast come back, I decided to stop again.
Well, the crave still there, and I've been trying to find substitute for my crave, but to no avail.
Milo ----> too milky
Tea ----> bought from the canteen downstairs taste yucky
Decaf coffee ----> tasteless

OMG the crave is coming again *sigh*
BTW quiz of the day, yesterday posting was "Subtitle", today posting is "Substitute", the question is,"What am i going to post tomorrow?" wakakakakka....

Subtitle

I always get distracted with subtitles. No matter how long I've been away from Indonesia, every time I watch a programme, be it movies in the cinema or just a normal show in the TV, if there is subtitle available, no matter English, Indonesian or Malay (unless Chinese lah of course...can't read mah :P), I'll focus to read the subtitle instead of hearing direct from the show *frustated*
I always wonder why am I so bloody damn lazy? Do you experience the same problem?

Hospital (Again)

Due to a very heavy work loads these pas few weeks, on Wednesday nite, I rushed my self to the hospital again *sigh* Actually I was trying to fight for the whole day, as I was thinking, anyway I'd be seeing my cardiologist on Thursday.
But I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to left office and rushed to the A&E department. Arriving there, I still tried to compose my self before I got out from the car, hoping that I'd get better, to find that my condition worsened.
Having no choice, I turned my self in, based on first round diagnosed, everything is normal (as usual), but my hand and foot started to tremble, and the doctor also witnessed, so he asked me to go for ECG, which also turned out to be normal.
Let's gossip *teteup*, when I was there, there was this auntie (let's call her auntie lah, middle age woman, which is very slim and looks like she get nose job as well) waking in with the blood flowing from her leg. Not a heavy flow, but I just think she purposedly to exagerate the things, by not wiping off the blood from her wound, just below her knee.
Then I heard she was talking to the husband,"Eh can you ask the nurse whether I need a plastic surgeon or not".
Still not believing my ears, I tried to eavesdrop again when the husband talking to the nurse,"Nurse, can I check with you, does my wife need a plasic surgeon or not?"
*gubraks*
Her wound only the size of "upil", and excuse me? Plastic surgeon? *gubraks lagi*But anyway...she is just a vain auntie...
Happy week end everyone...

Then I realised that our office has become like Ocean Eleven the movie, where computers and cables are every where...

Bad Experience with Holiday Inn

On January I booked hotel stays for Chinese New Year periods through Priority Club Member website, and received the acknowledgement email automatically from the system.
End of January, I tried to make amendment to my initial bookings through the website again, but I couldn't do so. I called their customer service number 1800-787-1221 to modify my bookings.
To play safe, a few days before I left for my trips, I double checked my email, to my surprised I found out that the price had changed from the original price, that I got from the automated email confirmation.
I called the customer service again, to clarify about this matter, and it became even worse, I triple booked the room after I spoke to the guy, I tried to call back, but spoke to different officer, had to repeat all over again, which is very tiring *sigh* finally he said he would transferred me to the first guy, then the line cut off #%^$#$#%^&&***
I was tired, but I still tried to call but because it was night in Australia, so I thought it must had been the staff from UK who answered my called this time. Tired of explaining, I was thinking to call again the next day which is only a few hours before I left, I had to explain all over again *deep sigh* then I asked is there any guest relation officer numer that I could call to clarify this matter. He gave a number, but I couldn't get through.
So Icalled back the same number and asked to be transferred to guest relation officer, but this time this girl by the name of Christine, insisted that she would try to solve my problems. There I goes again repeating the very long winded history of my booking...and she said I should call Hongkong to clarify, which I found very ridiculuous.
They have 1800 number, which is free, but yet they couldn't solve my problem. The point is why should I incure the cost of International call for the mistake that I didn't commit.
I still insisted to be transferred to her manager or guest relationship officer, but she also insisted that she wouldn't do so.
I also asked for explanation how could this things happened, and she just simply said, it's human error, which I found it's very ridiculous.
On the other hand I also tried my best to book rooms in another hotel, but I couldn't find any. Can you imagine, I was about to go holiday with my parents, without any assurance about the reservation and I'm only about a few hours away to catch my plane.
I did try to drop a few messages through their websites as well about this things, but I've never received any apology or acknowledgement, or anything from their side.
Finally, I did left a comment to the hotel which I stayed in Hong Kong, the manager of Hong Kong hotel sent me an apology email, and said that this matter he had to forward to his head quarter, but until this moment I haven't heard anything at all from their head quarter.
Don't you think it's damn ridiculous? Holiday Inn, which has a lots of hotel in every country could have this level of customer service?
Of course I swear that I won't stay in Holiday Inn anymore, I just think, well it's not my class anyway....with a couple of dollar more, you could stay in Hyatt, Marriott or even Westin...why should I spend my money for this type of bad customer service..
I wonder how they could they win the freddie award with such a bad attitude....
Moral of the story, don't waste your time with Holiday Inn, stay somewhere else....
Meanwhile...I want to go to timbuktu...for sure I don't stay in Holiday Inn this time
