Bo Ceng Li

It's not about that tenor singer, that one is Andrea Bocelli *plesetan*
Bo Ceng Li means mmm what ya....let me think, mmm not fair....
My recept told me that she met the uncle bo kam guan (=don't want to lose or he always to be number one), my office neighbour with weird behaviour itu lohhh... when she came back from buying lunch.
She said the uncle was talking to his staff saying in Chinese, but let me translate lah ya...
Uncle,"I gave you 1 week holiday for Chinese New Year so I'll deduct your leave or if you don't have any leave left, I'll deduct your pay!"
Well...well...sounds familiar huh? Just like cuti massal (=mass leaves) during Hari Raya in Indonesia...mmm so far I understand that in Singapore there is no such thing as company close for Chinese New Year, then the boss will deduct the leave...this is the first time I heard about that.
Well...he might be influenced by his brother, that has a company in Batam, whereby he supplies all the goods to.
Being wicked, I told my recept,"Eh why don't you said 'My boss doesn't do that leh' in front of them?"
wakakkakakakkaka........tanduk guwe keluar euyyyy

My Heart Cry

Hmmm sounds very melodrama ya? *blush*
By the way, I'm in Hong Kong now, and the hotel provided free internet access from the room, and I bring my laptop with me *yuupppeeeee* So my hands are of course very itchy, want to update my blog, but of course no time for blogwalking....busy bowwwww.... *alasan*
Anyway yesterday, it's been always my ritual to visit this restaurant, by the name of Tay Ping Koon, every time I visited Hong Kong. It's a very old western restaurant, and all the waiters are old uncle as old as my dad, or may be a bit younger.
Tay Ping Koon, always been frequented by the high level of Hong Kong-ers, which you can see from their look and manner. By the way I found this restaurant from the guide to Hong Kong from Femina magazine (Indonesian famous female magazine). The price quite reasonable though...
I was sitting in the corner the most inside, while I was doing people watching, there it was on the other corner, one elderly gentleman, much more older than my dad, sitting by him self, with a straight body, dressed up in a very neat coat and tie.
He gave all the waiter the hong bao (=red packet), and he seemed quite famous there. I didn't know, what's going inside my heart, but my heart started to cry when I saw him. His so well behaved, must be from the very very rich family, but yet there he was sitting by him self, even though he looks quite fragile *sigh*
That situation made me lose my appetite *sigh*
Is it sign of aging? I'm not easily cry with certain occasion, but now my heart become so fragile and soft *sigh* What's happening nah? *Thai Accent*

Tajirr...Bowww

I've already mentioned in a few last postings about how annoying the telemarketer in Singapore is. Nah, a few days ago, I received one call.
She,"Good afternoon may I speak to Flona, please?"
Me,"Yes, speaking".
She,"Oh Hi Ms Flona, my name is XXXXXXX, and I'm calling on behalf of Standard Chartered Bank. I would like to share something to you bla....bla..bla.. (very long, I couldn't get it what she says anyway).....then I have this special offer for you, a Personal loan with a very low interest rate, how does it sound ms Flona?"
Me,"Ouw, thanks for your special offer, I'm not interested in it.."
I hadn't had a chance to finish my line then she cut me off,"Oh, why? It has a very low interest rate..."My blood started to boil and I cut her off also but with a calm tone,"Well, I have ABUNDANCE of MONEY, why should I take your loan?"She answered with a pissed off voice,"Oh Good for you then, good luck.."
I politely answered,"Thanks for your offer..and Happy Chinese New Year"
She hung up...
ABUNDANCE of MONEY? wakakakkakka....tajir bowwww....Amien deh Amien....
Money sih I have, but Abundance...well..if Indonesian Rupiah, have a few millions lah...but Singapore Dollar...weleh....still looking for a spoonful of rice a a big bowl of diamond lah yau...
Anyway wanted to wish you who celebrate a Happy Prosperous Chinese New Year, may you'll be granted with a good health, bright future, and ABUNDANCE of MONEY *wicked smile*

I read in the newspaper the price of Valentine package is getting even crazier each year *sigh* but anyway I'm not going to buy or do anything mah...Valentine's day is just another day, rite? nothing special...
Meanwhile I've been burnt with my workloads *sob sob*

Competition

My parents are here. So there is the competition in having the right to see which programmes *sigh*
Frankly speaking, I'm not a TV person, I'm more to radio person, but then there are some programmes that I like to watch, Indonesian Infotainment (if I didn't forget about it, but most of the times I always forget *blush*) in the morning, and Makan King 2, and I don't know what else lah....
Anyway the Indonesian infortainment I watch it in the morning during my brekkie time, but then, my father like to watch the TVRI at that time, which doing some English lesson *sigh*
So every morning, I tried my best to occupied the tv first (but I always lose *sad*, an even though I win, then my dad will easily said,"Mana remotenya?" then change to TVRI *gondok*).
Last friday, finally I managed to occupy the TV first, but in the middle of the infotainment, my dad said,"Mana remotenya?"
Reluctantly I gave the remote to my Dad, but luckily when he turned to TVRI, hoooraaaayyyyy....no lesson on Friday, so he was dissapointedly returned the remote to me *lompat2*
Actually, when my parents not here I also seldom see the infotainment kok, may be the competition that give me "the kick" in competition kali yak? *senyum manis*

Banjir Euy banjir...

Jakarta is flooding very badly. I feel sad, angry, helpless, etc...
I grew up just in front of Ciputra Mall, between my place and Ciputra Mall is only separated by a river, which was frequently flooded by then also. But after they made a new river thru Pantai Indah Kapuk, the flood have never came back.
But then I just felt upset that people just throw anything to river, treating the river as their rubbish dump, the government have never taken any action against it, never tried to clean up the river as well.
When there is a new housing complex or building is up, has the developer ever considered about the drainage system? Or the government asked the developer about the drainage system? *narik napas*
I used to joke when I was still a small child with my friends, would Jakarta be flooding very badly until reaching the top of Monas?
So far my parents are here in Singapore, my house according to my neighbour is still safe, my aunties are safe. Thanks God.
I have already sms-ed some of you who is staying in Jakarta. Most of you are well, but then there are some that is quite badly affected by the flood. Just one word that I could say, Take care my friend. may be you can stock up some food, for emergency case.
